Why is the Program needed?

🌍

See the big picture

War in Ukraine has been going on since February 2022. While the immediate response is now mostly covered, we need to focus on longer-term goals and impact β€” work on specific issues that enable democracy in the country.

πŸ’Έ

Projects are underfunded

Especially those in early stages. Some initiatives provide tons of support to their community, but don't yet qualify for big-donor grants.

🧭

Leaders need guidance

Some leaders started volunteering without expertise, just because it had to be done. Many burn out due to overworking and being underfunded.
